The Fermod 921 Cold Room Handle - Complete Kit
- To suit over-lapping and rebated coldroom doors

- Includes external, internal handles and 3 keys
- Includes selected strike and 17mm spacers
Here are some tips to fit a new handle:
1. Remove the green rubber cap from the inner release handle.
2. Unscrew the inner release handle and remove the black push rod that connects the inner and outer handles.
3. Use a 17mm socket with an extension bar to turn the 17mm nut at the back of the external handle anti-clockwise.
4. Remove the two slotted screws above and below the handle's latch component to free the handle from the door.
5. You can reuse the brass-coloured fixing plate if you wish.
6. To attach the handle, follow the same steps in reverse.
7. After installation, use an 8mm spanner to double-check the strike and make any necessary adjustments.
8. It's essential to ensure the door closes tightly, without applying excessive strain on the strike.
9. If the door doesn't seal in either corner, place a wooden block between the door and the frame; apply pressure to the opposite corner and correct any twisting.
